Barbara is an American immigrant to Ireland where she lives in Kerry with her family. She's had flash published in numerous zines, including recent pubs in Ghost Parachute, Spelk, Fictive Dream and Ellipsis Zine and her debut flash collection, "Some Days are Better Than Ours" will be published later in 2019 by Reflex Press. She is a Senior Editor for BIFFY50, compiling a list of the best in British and Irish flash fiction and a Guest Editor for Virtual Zine. Awards include: winner of Irish Writer's Centre Novel Fair and shortlisting for Over the Edge Writer of the Year and longlisting for Bare Fiction Prize.
