L. Vocem is a Venezuelan-American writer whose work has appeared in 2018 in Ghost Town, Wraparound South, The Seventh Wave, Blue Mesa Review and Azahares Literary Magazine. Other stories have been published in The Americas Review, Magic Realism, Well Versed, storySouth, Zoetrope All-Story Extra. He was the featured writer for the Paumanok Review. Won Best Fiction second prize in AIM Quarterly. He has a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art (now Savannah College of Art & Design SCAD), and attended the Iowa Summer Writers’ Workshop.
