Course summary

This four-week Masterclass will walk students through how they can their balance professional and creative lives. By exploring fundamental craft pillars like idea, audience, structure, dialogue, syntax, and character Glenn will help students see that if they write commercially it doesn’t mean they have to compromise their writing otherwise. In fact, a balance of the two can help writers produce stronger fiction and nonfiction work. He will offer a variety of helpful tips to help writers get that creative project done.

Students will look at a variety of writers including Percival Everett, Rebecca Watson, and Patrick Radden Keefe.  Glenn will offer personalised feedback on a project students decide to work on throughout the workshop. Whether it be a novel or a nonfiction book you’re working on, you will see that those skills you use in your day-to-day line of work might just help you finish your creative project to success!
