Two Truths and a Lie is a 4-week live writing course that helps you turn lived experience into compelling fiction. We’ll mine memory for material, shape it into narrative, and use simple fictionalising techniques to navigate the space between “truth” and “untruth” with confidence.
You’ll leave with at least one developed story draft (and often two), plus a repeatable process you can use for future work.
How you will learn
- Live Zoom sessions (75 minutes): short teaching, timed writing, and optional sharing.
- Weekly drafting: you’ll generate new material in-session, then develop it between weeks.
- Fictionalising techniques: learn what to change (character / setting / event) to increase narrative energy.
- Optional sharing: low-pressure, supportive responses — no harsh critique circle.
- Replay (30 days): if you miss a session, you can catch up.
