Day 2 will teach you effective ways of seeking, getting and using feedback on your writing; the key secrets of plot, structure, editing your work and developing your writing strategy.
Participants will explore and develop approaches to achieving creative fluency, practice tactics for adopting regular writing practice and learn some of the secrets of creative focus. Information sessions will be integrated with structured exercises and interactive discussion – with a focus on strategies for kick-starting or re-igniting participants’ creative writing. Students will explore how to ensure that all the feedback they seek and get is constructive even when it’s critical. We will dig deep into detail on the 3 C’s of plot and structure: conflict, curiosity and character. Workshop 2 will include a focused masterclass on redrafting, editing and developing a longer-term writing strategy that aligns with your busy lives.
