Mattison is a recent graduate from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln where she majored in English and received the 2018 Stover award for short story. She is currently living in Chicago where she is the social media coordinator for Sex-Posi Ed, a resource for students that provides sex-positive, accurate, and inclusive sex ed information.
