Blue Teddy bear

Rain-soaked and tired from work, she steps into the apartment complex, aching to strip away the suffocating layers of clothes.
At her door: A bouquet of glitter-covered plastic roses, gleaming blue against a colossal teddy bear, also blue.
She enters her apartment, produces a trash bag out of the kitchen and proceeds to stuff the blue pile of regret inside it. Stepping away from the crinkling sound, she promises herself to never fall for a man who doesn’t even know her favourite colour. The door shuts
