One funded place for October
We’ve opened one funded place on Litro’s October Submission Sprint for a writer who might not otherwise be able to take part.
We’d especially like it to reach a younger Black writer.
The place includes the full three-week Submission Sprint, a follow-up editorial conversation, a Revision Check on the piece afterwards, and help finding somewhere suitable to send the work next.
Where there’s a useful connection we can make — to an editor, programme or opportunity — we’ll try to make it.
The application is short. Just tell us what you’re working on and why you’d like to take part.
The October Submission Sprint runs on 8, 15 and 22 October 2026.
There’s no income paperwork, no hardship essay and no manuscript upload at this stage.
