Since 2005, Litro has published works by first time authors through to Nobel laureates. Litro is self-selecting for people with an interest in literature, culture, and innovation, providing readers with an intellectual escapism, a perfect read for those with busy lives. Our Litro World Series editions encourage crosscultural conversations and spark interests in diversity and inclusion.

Founded in 2005, Litro Magazine is a fully fledged literary and creative arts platform that champions emerging international writers whilst celebrating the established. Over the years we have helped kick start the literary journeys of several writers to acclaim, such as Richard House, 2013 Manbooker longlist, Nikesh Shukla, Eleanor Catton, 2013 Manbooker winner, Stuart Evers, Clare Wigfall, Naomi Alderman, Lucie Whitehouse, Louise Stern, Sara Maitland and many more; and publishing the likes of Irvine Welsh, Benjamin Zephaniah, William Dalrymple, Abraham Verghese, Shashi Tharoor…

Fiction should be enduring, not disposable, and as such Litro in print is specially designed to fit in your pocket, purse, or bag. We like to think of it as your ticket to stories otherwise out of reach.
