After reviewing the newest Nook HD Tablet, Litro got to thinking about the future of reading. We can’t deny that the way we read, both physically and mentally, is changing. We’ve swapped books for e-readers, Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy for short online articles, full sentences for tweets.
As always, we couldn’t have a conversation without you! And so, we want to hear (via haiku—we are a literary magazine after all) your thoughts about this evolution, about the future of reading. Send us a haiku (or a bunch of them) telling us what you think about the ways technology is changing reading, or how it’s not. Tell us what you think the future will bring. Get creative. You can post your haikus on our Twitter page or on our Facebook.
The winner will receive the latest piece of literary technology—the newest Nook HD Tablet, Argos. If you want to know more about the prize, check out our review. Trust us, it’s a prize worth winning!
Deadline: All haikus must be posted on or before Friday, September 27th.
