Charles completed the Faber Academy Writing a Novel course in 2020, and has since been working on writing short stories and finishing a novel. He studied music at the University of Liverpool and currently works at Waterstones in London. Some of his primary literary influences include Denis Johnson, Charles Dickens and Donna Tartt.
