Duranka is a British Sri Lankan surgical trainee with an interest in sustainability and disorders of paediatric spine. He was recently shortlisted for the Merky Books New Writers' Prize and has had poetry and prose published in various collections, including SLAM! You're Gonna Wanna Hear This by Nikita Gill. He is working on his debut novel.
