Elise Holschuh lives in Seattle and writes both fiction and personal essays. She has taken writing classes for over twenty-five years and only recently has sought publication, finally feeling confident that her writing is worth readership. This is her first published work. She holds a BA in Anthropology from Carleton College and an MBA from Northwestern University. She is on the board of Hugo House, a Seattle-based non-profit organization that opens the literary world to everyone who loves books or has a drive to write.
