Hannah Sutherland is a writer of both short and long form fiction from the North East of Scotland. Her debut novel was longlisted in Helen Lederer's Comedy Women in Print Award. She was Highly Commended in the Bridport Prize, placed 2nd in the Aurora Prize and won Cranked Anvil’s Flash Fiction Competition. Her Novella-in-Flash, Small Things, was Highly Commended in the 2021 Bath Novella-in-Flash Award and was published by Ad Hoc Fiction. She is a selective Curtis Brown Creative alumina and is studying for her MFA in Creative Writing at the Manchester Writing School.
