Jill Lawton was born in the UK and studied English Literature at Jesus College, Oxford. She has lived in the Durban area since 1985 and has obtained two master's degrees in psychology and practical theology. She loves all things creative - she has been writing poetry for a number of years and has published a full-colour coffee table book of poetry and mixed media art.
