Matthew Perkins is a freelance writer and editor from the UK. His fiction and non-fiction has appeared in The White Review, Klang Magazine, Condé Nast Traveller and World Literature Today, among other publications. He was recently shortlisted for The Berlin Writing Prize. He works as an academic editor, a commercial copywriter, and as a script-writer for factual films. He is currently working on a novel set in Leipzig in the late 1990s about a missing text-adventure game designer. He lives in Munich.
