Since he began writing fiction in 2012, Russell Reader has won first prize in the New Writer Magazine’s Prose and Poetry Awards, and has been shortlisted in Fish Publishing, Flash 500, Words with Jam and Creative Writing Matters competitions. He had also been longlisted for BBC Radio Four Opening Lines, and accepted for online publication by Litro Magazine.
