About Litro Live!
Litro Live! brings you fresh and exciting talent from the world of the spoken word. Our events feature readings from the hottest new writers mixed with live music and DJ sets. Litro Live! is a chance to gather with friends and fellow book-lovers.
Our guests have included the likes of Sadie Jones, Geoff Dyer, Charlene Soraia, Eleanor Catton, Jake Arnott, and many more. Come along it will be fun.
Litro Live! is the brainchild of Eric Akoto, our multi hat wearing, writer, Online Editor, Publisher and coffee and tea maker (if your nice to him). You’ll usually find him at most of our events by the bar or on the phone trying to get a great writer to join him by the bar….
After an initial residency at Foyles, Litro Live! can now be found at an interesting location across the capital – Hyde Park, Serpentine Lake, taking over St. Pancras International Station and many more locations.
In 2012, Litro Live! decided to not only bring individual celebrated and emerging international talent to Londoners, but also whole countries and the Litro Live! World Series was born, countries covered to date include America, The Netherlands and many more.

Critical appreciation for Litro Live!
“Although this was the first Litro event I have been to hope that it won’t be the last, and if you happen to be a London-dweller I would strongly recommend checking out their website for details of their monthly live show…” by Eilidh, posted by bookarmy.com
“It was an evening of people re-ordering words as well as drinks….a bill crammed with writers, poets, comics and musicians.
“The tables and sofas were full with a coffee-drinking crowd….. talent-and-personality-fuelled events such as these make sure the pages of original writing keep being turned—and should be replicated as much as possible” Charlotte Williams, London Journalist
