His nonfiction has appeared in The American Scholar, Entropy, and Literary Matters, and Speculative Nonfiction, and his translations in The New Yorker, Conjunctions, and Asymptote. His latest book is IDIOT LOVE and the Elements of Intimacy: Literature, Philosophy, and Psychoanalysis. He was born in Israel, grew up in urban Los Angeles, and lives in Jerusalem.
