Lorna Wood is a violinist and writer in Auburn, Alabama. Her fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and scholarly essays have appeared or are forthcoming on Litro NY's podcast and in Canyons of the Damned, Lemon Theory, Poetry South, and The Palgrave Handbook of Affect Studies and Textual Criticism, among others. She was a finalist in the Jerry Jazz Musician and Neoverse fiction contests, nominated for a Pushcart Prize by Poetry South, and the second prize winner in the 2018 Loquat Literary Festival contest, and she is Senior Editor of Gemini Magazine.
