It is a pleasure to announce Litro’s nominations for the annual Best Small Fictions anthology.

Litro has always supported and championed flash fiction and prose poetry, from its weekly Flash Friday selection, chosen by Editor Catherine McNamara, to frequent masterclasses on the form, including an upcoming Spring course with industry expert, Jose Hernandez Diaz.

Looking for “an eclectic array of styles and approaches,” and “memorable imagery and characterization,” it was no small feat to narrow down our choices. Listed below are our 2024 nominations. Congratulations to this year’s nominees. We are overjoyed to publish such talented voices.
