Amanda Oosthuizen is a writer, musician and woodwind teacher from Hampshire, UK. She was joint winner of the University of Chichester's 2010 Kate Betts Prize. Her novel, ‘The Cherrywood Box’, was highly commended in the 2012 Yeovil Literary Prize. Work has won prizes in the 2012 Yellow Room, The Mail on Sunday Novel, NADFAS and Ian St James Awards, shortlisted for the 2012 Mslexia Prize and Asham Award and longlisted in 2012 Fish short story and memoir competitions. Her story, ‘The Glorious Dolores’, was performed in March 2013 by Liars’ League in London.
